Teaching Evaluations
I have been incredibly fortunate in my experiences with students who are engaged and willing to discuss ideas, in all of the courses that I've taught thus far. Whether this is due to creating an atmosphere conducive to student interaction, or if it is more an element of luck, I have had fairly high student evaluations across the board. I make every effort to learn from end of the semester feedback as well, and my courses are always changing accordingly. Teaching Philosophy

My Approach to teaching involves connecting sociological concepts, theories, and practices to the diverse experiences of those in my classroom. Through lecture and hands-on activities (in and out of the classroom), I hope to make this discipline a meaningful and applicable part of my students' lives.
